PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Check out these Philadelphia restaurants that are perfect spots to host your next event with all your friends and family.
Bloomsday sits on a block of Head House Square in Society Hill. With a menu heavily influenced by Spanish cuisine, it makes sense that they call themselves a "wine pub"...there is even a wine store inside! Here, vino is served from beakers right into your glass for the perfect pour. Book the back room for a cocktail party or sit down dinner for 30 people.
What I loved:
-Caramelized Onion Dip
-Trout and Roasted Chicken Entrees
-Homemade Cosmic Brownie
The ever popular Italian pizza and pasta spot, Barbuzzo, is typically packed wall to wall on any given weekend...but did you know you can throw an event here for up to 100 of your closest friends? Upstairs from the restaurant you'll find a separate spacious dining room with a bar and
chefs counter for guests who want to watch all of the action.
What I loved:
-The famous cheese filled meatballs
-Chicken Parmesan
-Vegetarian pasta option, with broccoli pesto.
If you climb all the steps to the third floor of Wilder restaurant, you will arrive at a stylish party room with a bar. (There are even leopard chairs!) The New American menu with an Italian influence is perfect for feeding 25 people an intimate yet vibrant sit down dinner.
What I loved:
-Papperdelle with Crab Meat & Vodka Sauce
-Steak Tartare
-Sweet & Spicy Pizza (drizzled with honey!)
