Philadelphia School Board to hold 1st public meeting

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The new Philadelphia School Board will hold its first public meeting Monday evening.

The board will elect officers and address other general business.

The new nine-member panel replaces the School Reform Commission which dissolved on June 30.

The meeting starts at 5 p.m. at the School District of Philadelphia headquarters on Broad Street.
