Philadelphia Zoo's conservation work has a global impact
The zoo's animals serve as ambassadors for the conservation work the Philadelphia Zoo does around the world.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A visit with animals at the zoo can inspire visitors. It's also a chance to explain Philadelphia zoo's impact around the world.

"Our mission is to save wildlife," says Dani Hogan, Director of Mission Integration. That also means that we are saving habitats, ecosystems and the humans that interact with those places and those animals.

Animals serve as ambassadors for education and the zoo's ultimate mission.

"You're educating people about animals and wildlife and how to help protect them," Amy Skokowski/Assistant Curator Primates & Small Mammals.
