PLAINSBORO, N.J. (WPVI) -- Two New Jersey police officers, who usually spend their days chasing criminals, chased some good old fashioned fun this week.

The pair from the Plainsboro Police Department made a surprise splash during bible camp at Princeton Alliance Church.

Corporal Russel Finklestein and Detective Scott Beatty pulled up in a patrol car and immediately sprinted toward the slip-n-slide.

Without hesitation, they gracefully belly flopped onto the tarp - much to the enjoyment of the crowd of kids.

And the fun didn't stop there. The officers stayed to check out the inflatable waterslide.

It's important to note that they did all of this in full uniform.

And don't worry, they did get permission from their supervisors.
