Fire damages house in Point Breeze

POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a blaze that damaged a house in Philadelphia's Point Breeze section.

The fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 2000 block of Gerritt Street.

It took crews about fifteen minutes to get the fire under control.

So far, there is no word on any injuries or what sparked the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
