An officer on a motorcycle was hurt in an accident in Wayne, Delaware County.

WAYNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A police officer was injured when the motorcycle he was on was struck by a vehicle Thursday morning in Wayne, Delaware County.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. on the 300 block of Lancaster Avenue.

Radnor police tell Action News, the officer was working a funeral escort when he was struck.

The Action Cam was on the scene shortly after a police officer on a motorcycle collided with a car in Wayne, Pa.

The officer suffered a leg injury, and is currently listed in stable condition at Pennsylvania Hospital.

The striking vehicle did remain on the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
