Police searching for diamond ring thief in Fishtown

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A ring was stolen from a jewelry store in Philadelphia's Fishtown section and now investigators are searching for the thief.

Detectives say a man entered Fishtown Jewelers on the 1600 block of Frankford Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and made off with the diamond ring.

No one was injured.

Detectives are checking surveillance video for a lead in the case.
