2 found dead after fire breaks out at 55+ community in Mansfield, New Jersey

MANSFIELD, NJ (WPVI) -- Two people died in a fire early Wednesday morning at a 55 and older community in Mansfield, Burlington County.

The Franklin Fire Company says two adults were found dead in the aftermath.

Crews were called to the 300 block of Wagon Wheel Circle in the Homestead community around 1:30 a.m.

Officials say the wind and cold made battling the flames difficult.

Two houses were severely damaged, two others sustained minor damage.

The victims have not been identified.

No word yet on a cause.
