PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Another water main break disrupted a Philadelphia neighborhood early Monday morning, adding to a growing list of infrastructure failures amid frigid temperatures across the city.
The latest break occurred in Overbrook Park, where water bubbled up along Greenhill Road just before 6 a.m. and rushed down Haverford Avenue, turning into slushy ice. By mid-morning, the water appeared to be shut off, though icy conditions remained in the area.
"I think it's just a hot mess, but what can you do?" said Stephanie Stevenson, who lives nearby.

There have been water main breaks every day since last Tuesday, including in Germantown, Point Breeze, Fishtown, and Fairmount.
On Sunday, a water main break at Cresson and Cotton streets in Manayunk caused water to rush down Main Street and enter nearby homes and businesses. Among those affected was popular sports bar J.D. McGillicuddy's, which was forced to close.
A similar scene unfolded Saturday in North Philadelphia, where a water main broke along the 1500 block of Oakdale Street, sending water gushing down the road.
"It was going all down the street, like gushing," said Racquia Richardson.

Residents in the area said the damage left some without basic necessities.
"For the last 24 hours we've been in the house with no water, no heat. It's freezing," said Dominique Cooper. "The way I'm dressed now is the way I'm dressed inside my house."
Neighbors shared photos showing basements filled with several feet of water, while others said they were given no clear timeline for repairs.
"No guarantee," Cooper said. "They're saying we might have water sometime this week."
"It's cold, and I have kids in here. It's cold," added Charles Leonard. "Gotta get this fixed ASAP."
Action News reached out to the Philadelphia Water Department for updates on the Overbrook Park, Manayunk and North Philadelphia breaks both Sunday night and Monday morning but had not received a response.
