A rifle-toting woman unknowingly chased away a pair of crooks when she saw a suspicious stranger in the street.
Marilyn Williams first grabbed her gun when she heard a commotion outside her California bedroom.
She said, "I kept yelling, 'I'm going to shoot you.' I said, 'I'm going to shoot you,' because I heard my husband say, 'Shoot them! Shoot them!'"
It turned out sheriffs were searching for a pair of armed robbers who had broken into her elderly neighbors home.
Police were not able to catch the men.
But, Williams's rifle scared them enough that the suspects dropped a bag full of jewelry, along with a gun and a mask, which ties them to the home invasion.
