West Philadelphia shooting leaves man hospitalized

A man is hospitalized after a shooting in West Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:35 p.m. Thursday at 51st and Brown streets.

Police say a 48-year-old man was shot in the back, thigh and foot.

He was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.

Police are checking nearby businesses for surveillance video.

So far, no arrests or motive.
