Alicia emcees Jose Garces Foundation event

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- It was a foodie's dream come true Friday night at the Loews Hotel in center City.

Hundreds of people turned out to a benefit for the Jose Garces Foundation.

Attendees had a chance to taste the creations of some of the region's best chefs.

And our own Alicia Vitarelli was on had to emcee the event.

Money raised goes toward making sure Philadelphia's immigrant community has access to healthcare and education.
