International Day of the Girl

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Some girls in Delaware got to take part in an important global conversation featuring First Lady Michelle Obama.

In recognition of International Day of the Girl, which is celebrated each year on October 11th, Girls Inc hosted this viewing party in Wilmington Tuesday.

It centered around a digital conversation involving girls around the world -- highlighting the challenges they face, and the opportunities they have to overcome them.
