Tamala emcees scholar awards

NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- Action news anchor Tamala Edwards was on hand to help honor recipients of Philadelphia Scholar awards who are graduating from college this year.

The Philadelphia Scholar program has given out more than 13 million dollars in scholarships since 1990.

Thursday night's event took place at the Cescaphe Ballroom in Northern Liberties.
