NJ soldier returns from 13-year tour of duty

SOMERDALE, N.J. (WPVI) -- In Camden County, New Jersey, neighbors, friends and family members are welcoming home a hero.

It was quite a celebration Friday morning as Sergeant First Class Christopher Michael Bayne arrived home in Somerdale escorted by a caravan of motorcycles and fire trucks.

After serving his country for 13 years, Bayne is home for good.

And his loved ones couldn't be happier.

Sergeant Bayne's wife and daughter have been counting the days until his tours of duty in Afghanistan, Columbia and Chile were complete.

And now the family is whole again.

Welcome home, Sergeant First Class Christopher Bayne.
