2 men hospitalized after shooting in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two men were rushed to the hospital after being shot in South Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday on the 1800 block of South 23rd Street.

Police say a 44-year-old man and a 39-year-old man were both shot in the stomach.

They are in serious but stable condition.

Officers found sixteen shell casings at the scene.

Two parked cars and a Chinese take-out restaurant were hit with bullets.

The incident remains under investigation.
