DETROIT -- Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay had as good of a homecoming as he could have hoped for.

Back in Detroit, where he starred for seven seasons, Slay lived up to the "Big Play Slay" nickname he earned there with a 33-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the third quarter to put the Eagles up 38-0.

Slay spoke well of his time with the Lions earlier in the week, during which he tweeted:

His teammates said he was hyped for his return, and it showed.

Fellow corner Avonte Maddox knocked the ball loose from Detroit running back D'Andre Swift. Slay scooped it up and raced into the end zone, capping the play by raising his arms toward the crowd before breaking into a dance.
