The Philadelphia Phillies have traded shortstop Jimmy Rollins to the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to ESPN.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- According to an ESPN report, the Philadelphia Phillies have traded shortstop Jimmy Rollins to the Los Angeles Dodgers, however, another report says the deal has not been finalized.

Buster Olney, senior baseball writer for ESPN The Magazine, made the announcement of the trade on Twitter Wednesday afternoon.

A short time later, ESPN columnist Jayson Stark says he was being told it was not a done deal and Rollins may not have yet waived his veto rights to be traded.

No further details have been released on this reported deal.

Jimmy Rollins, 36, has been on the Phillies since 2000.

Former teammate Shane Victorino tweeted a message to Jimmy saying it will be "awkward not seeing ya rocking a 'P.'"

Rollins is the Phillies' all-time hits leader and a 4-time Gold Glove winner.

He was also a member of the 2008 World Series Championship team.

He has one year and $11 million left on his contract and would've been a free agent next year.

Meanwhile, the Phillies have officially traded pitcher Antonio Bastardo to the Pittsburgh Pirates for minor league pitcher Joely Rodriguez.

Bastardo, 29, appeared in 67 games for the Phillies last season, going 5-7 with a 3.94 ERA as he finished tied for 10th place among all National League relievers in strikeouts (81) and strikeouts per 9.0 innings (11.39).

Originally signed by the Phillies as an amateur free agent on February 17, 2005, Bastardo has spent his entire major league career with the team, going 20-18 with a 3.72 ERA and 11 saves in 22 opportunities.

Rodriguez went 6-11 with a 4.84 ERA in 30 games (21 starts) for double-A Altoona last season. The 23-year-old native of the Dominican Republic was originally signed by Pittsburgh in 2009 as an amateur free agent.

Trade rumors are also surrounding pitcher Cole Hamels, however, nothing has been reported on that front.
