The Philadelphia 76ers have signed veteran Corey Brewer to a 10-day contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Brewer, entering his 12th NBA season, spent last season between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Brewer will have five games with Philadelphia to demonstrate his worth. The $135,000 contract will expire Jan. 24 , and the 76ers will have an $85,000 cap hit on his salary, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.

This is the first 10-day contract of Brewer's career. The 32-year-old forward has career averages of 8.9 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
