SPRINGFIELD TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- The police headquarters in Springfield Township, Bucks County was the scene of its own emergency Monday night.
A pickup truck slammed into the building and opened a hole in the wall around 6:00 p.m.
It took more than half an hour to free the driver.
Officers say it appears his vehicle missed a sharp corner, went airborne, and then hit the garage where police park their vehicles.
No officers were hurt.
The police building is actually a polling place; it will still be open for Tuesday's election.
