Man wanted in stabbing of brother in New Castle County

OAKMONT, Del. (WPVI) -- New Castle County Police are seeking a man wanted in connection with the stabbing of his 47-year-old brother.

Forty-five-year-old Tyrone Prince of the unit block of Birkshire Road in Oakmont, Delaware, is being sought by officials.

Police responded around 7:45 a.m. Friday to a home in Oakmont for a report of a domestic-related incident involving a weapon.

Upon arrival, officers found Prince's brother suffering from stab wounds to his upper and lower torso.

The victim told police he was stabbed by Prince following an altercation.

Police said Prince fled prior to their arrival.

The victim was transported to Christiana Hospital where he underwent surgery.

Prince is described as an black male, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 170 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes.
