Philadelphia police officers meet with members of the community

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police officers took some time out of their busy day to meet with members of the West Philadelphia community.

The department's 19th district presented a "fun day" on the 6000 block of Thompson Street.

Families had a chance to enjoy a dunk tank, a bounce house, and even have a little water ice.

Several officers on horseback also attended Friday's event.
