Motorcyclist critically injured in Wilmington crash

WILMINGTON, Delaware (WPVI) -- A motorcyclist in Delaware is in critical condition after crashing into a utility pole.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday on South Lincoln Street near Sycamore in Wilmington.

Police said the driver was thrown from the bike after hitting the pole.

He suffered severe head injuries, although he was wearing a helmet.
