Truck flips on NJ Turnpike in Bordentown

BORDENTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A tractor trailer flipped on the New Jersey Turnpike in Hamilton Township on Monday afternoon.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m.

The big rig crossed the median and crashed, spilling the contents of the trailer.

The view from Chopper 6 HD showed the damaged truck cab also nearby.

The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It did not appear any other vehicles were involved.

There were closures in both the northbound and southbound lanes.
