Small fire department welcomes 6 babies in 7 months

MEDIAPOLIS, Iowa -- An Iowa fire station looks more like a day care with the addition of six babies.

Since August, three boys and three girls have been born to firefighters from the same station. They say the expansion of their firefighter family can get hectic, but they enjoy getting all the infants together.

It may already be in the back of your mind, but they say none of this was planned.

Those firefighters plan to make a yearly tradition of taking a group photo.

Six babies were born to the same firefighting family within seven months, three girls and three boys.
