HADDON HEIGHTS, New Jersey (WPVI) -- Lily Doyle painted "Still Our Flag" in order to have her voice heard during America's 250th birthday celebration.
The former art teacher, mom of twins, and breast cancer survivor felt inspired to bring people together during America's 250th birthday celebration.
She posted a video of her artwork online, including a monologue about equality and acceptance. It received over 12,000 views on Facebook.
Doyle also created a portrait of the Battleship New Jersey and a series of art about the Liberty Bell.
She was invited to display her work on the Battleship New Jersey on Sunday June 14 for their Flag Day celebration. Visitors will be able to tour a small exhibit featuring her patriotic paintings.
Doyle also runs a business called, 'Undercover Artist.' Through it, she leads art-making activities during fundraisers, team-building exercises, and more.
