WNBA star Caitlin Clark gets invite to do Phillies play-by-play after viral video

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark may have come out of her playoff debut with her Indiana Fever on Sunday a little physically bruised after they lost the game - but she did emerge from the weekend with one bright spot.

The Phillies have taken her up on her offer to broadcast a game.

Turns out, Caitlin is a fan of our beloved Phils.

Clark's teammate, Lexie Hull, posted a video of her watching and commentating on the Phillies-Milwaukee Brewers game last Wednesday, and it went viral.

Clark tagged the Phillies on a repost of the video and jokingly asked them to hire her.

Play-by-play announcer Tom McCarthy responded and invited her into the booth any time she wants to help call the game.
