VOORHEES, N.J. (WPVI) -- A woman was injured after a driver crashed into a building in Voorhees, New Jersey.
The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Voorhees Corporate Park on the 700 block of Cooper Road.
The car briefly caught fire after entering the building.
Police say a woman inside the business was injured and was taken to the hospital, complaining of hip pain.
A relative of the woman says she suffered a broken hip.
Police tell us the woman is lucky to be alive considering how hard the car hit the building.
The driver suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.
A preliminary investigation points toward the driver accidentally hitting the gas pedal instead of the brake, but the investigation is ongoing.
