PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- After enjoying some sun on Saturday, rain and unseasonably cool temperatures return for Mother's Day.

SUNDAY (MOTHER'S DAY): Cloudy and cooler with showers. The wettest portion of the day looks to be during the morning. During the afternoon we could have pockets of steady rain with even a rumble of thunder and small hail, high 58.

MONDAY: Sunshine returns! It's a nice and seasonable day, high 73.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy and breezy with showers developing later in the day, high 75.

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with periods of rain, high 71.

THURSDAY: Clouds early with a lingering shower. Then, clouds will give way to late day sun, high 75.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with late day showers possible, high 75.

SATURDAY: Cloudy with the chance for rain, high 70.
