WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating the stabbing of a teenager in West Philadelphia.
It happened around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday along the 4900 block of Walton Street.
Authorities tell Action News the 17-year-old male was stabbed five times.
Officers rushed him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he is now in critical condition.
It's still not clear why the teen was targeted.
Police are looking for the attacker described as a black male in his 30s, 5'8, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
