Water main break damages West Philadelphia street

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A water main break caused damage to a street in West Philadelphia Wednesday morning.

The Philadelphia Water Department was called out around 9:00 a.m. to the unit block of South Conestoga Street.

Officials say a 6-inch main broke resulting in water gathering at the end of the block.

The break also created a hole in the street.

A car's wheel became stuck in the hole.
