PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- If you are a student in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and are wondering what to do during the strike, here are details for four of the universities in our area:
KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY
Students are to report to all classes as usual on Wednesday, regardless of the outcome of the negotiations. The KU University Relations Office and the President's Office will continue to provide updates throughout the day and night via KU email as available. Also, please continue to monitor the news section of the KU website for additional information.
CHEYNEY UNIVERSITY OF PA.
Students should plan to attend their scheduled classes every day and may leave if a professor does not arrive after 10-15 minutes.
WEST CHESTER UNIVERSITY
Students should plan to attend their scheduled classes every day and may leave if a professor does not arrive.
EAST STROUDSBURG UNIVERSITY
The university will remain open and will continue to operate to the greatest extent possible. Individual faculty members have the right to choose whether to go on strike or to continue working. By law, faculty members have the right to decline to participate in a strike and to remain in their classrooms and continue their classes for their students. Students are expected to continue to report to class until informed otherwise by the university.
