Parents know kids are constantly growing out of clothes, shoes, coats and other clothing.
And whether you are trying to make room - and cash - by clearing out the old stuff, or grab new items for a steal, one Mayfair mom tells us she's found an app that does both and it's perfect for the back to school refresh.
Joy Curry is a mom of three girls, so she knows a thing or two about how fast they grow out of the old stuff...and need the new.
"It's a great way to get a little bit of cash back for stuff we aren't using anymore and someone else can get some use out of," she said.
It's fashion upcycling for the little ones with the revolving closets.
"Kids clothes are expensive," said Joy.
While on maternity leave with her third daughter, she discovered Kidizen, an app where your phone becomes your own mobile marketplace to sell the stuff your kids are no longer using including clothes, shoes and even toys.
And she says you can also get great deals on new gems.
"Higher end brands like Tea Collection, Mini Boden, Matilda Jane for a fraction of the retail cost and then I know I can go back and resell those brands so another mom and kids can enjoy them as well," said Joy.
All you have to do is upload some pictures of the items and a description including the condition - and you're in business.
You are responsible for shipping and Kidizen does take a cut of the sale, but Joy says this sort of mobile consignment boutique for kids has become the only way she shops - and sells.
"It's super convenient we can do it on our time saves us money and we get a little bit of money back too," she said.
And Joy says with the cash they bring in, she buys the girls new clothes - including school uniforms.
