Wilmington Blue Rocks' bacon hot dog on doughnut gets named

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Buy me some peanuts, Cracker Jack, and Sweenie Donut Dogs.

The Wilmington Blue Rocks announced the name for the team's new stadium food concoction.

The Sweenie Donut Dog combines a hot dog on a bakery glazed doughnut bun with raspberry jam and bacon.

It will be sold at Frawley Stadium starting on April 16, 2015.

The minor league baseball team had revealed the concept for the Sweenie Donut Dog last month, but needed a name.

The team turned to fans for help.

The person who suggested "Sweenie Donut Dog" will get four tickets to opening night and get to throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
