Vehicle overturns on Walnut St. Bridge in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police and firefighters were on the scene of an accident involving an overturned vehicle on the Walnut Street Bridge in Wilmington, Delaware.

The crash happened shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday at South Walnut Street.

A female driver was removed from the vehicle and taken to Christiana Hospital with minor injuries.

No word on her condition.

The road was closed, but opened about a half hour later.
