Driver seriously hurt in Wilmington crash

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a crash that left a man seriously injured in Wilmington, Delaware.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday on the Washington Street Bridge near Baynard Boulevard.

According to police, the victim lost control before crashing into a utility pole.

That person was taken to Wilmington Hospital for treatment.

No word on why the driver lost control.
