WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- At least three homes were damaged during a fire in Wilmington, Delaware.
The blaze broke out around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 1100 block of Lancaster Avenue.
Fire crews reported flames coming from the first floor that quickly spread to the roof area.
The fire also affected the adjoining homes.
Two of the homes were vacant, and one resident in another home was displaced due to the fire and smoke.
It took firefighters over an hour to get the blaze under control.
There are no reported injuries.
Delmarva Gas and Electric responded and secured both the gas and electric to the property.
The Delaware Red Cross arrived to assist residents.
The Wilmington Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
