A man in his 70s allegedly stabbed a woman in her 40s inside a Bridgeton home.
When police responded, the man drove off and twice collided with a state trooper's car.
The man took off along Route 49 toward Millville. Then he drove off a bridge landing at East Broad and Laurel Road.
he was pulled from the water by firefighters and is in custody, in critical but stable condition at Cooper University Hospital.
The stabbing victim is at Christian Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
