Last week, Comcast-Spectacor's president said that the Wachovia Spectrum could be demolished to make room for an entertainment complex.
The city owns the property but gave Comcast development rights when it built the neighboring Wachovia Center, which opened in 1996.
The Spectrum once held big-league pro basketball and hockey games. It is now home to minor league hockey, indoor soccer, concerts and other events. It's uncertain where the teams will go if they're evicted.
