Kobe Bryant will skip surgery
El Segundo, February 15, 2008 A hand specialist has recommended surgery. But
Bryant says he has decided to delay going under the knife. Surgery
could sideline for six weeks. But Bryant is hoping rest and
treatment will keep him on the court through the season and the
playoffs.
The injury took place when Bryant dislocated the finger
at New Jersey last week. He aggravated it in Wednesday night's game
at Minnesota. It's unclear if the injury will keep Bryant out of
the All-Star game in Minnesota on Sunday.
