One way to win the lottery

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - March 4, 2008

Try buying your lotto ticket in Indiana and forget about West Virginia.

Nancy Bulla with the West Virginia Lottery says outlets in her state have sold just six of the 197 winning tickets since the multistate game began in 1992.

Indiana has sold the most at 32.

But the math-whizes say it really doesn't matter where you buy a Powerball ticket.

Multi-State Lottery Association Director Chuck Strutt says the game's odds haven't changed.

They remain at 146 million to 1.
