Expensive gas out west

Five-buck-a gallon-gas isn't a prediction for the future -- it's reality on the California coast.

Run out of gas in the tiny Big Sur town of Gorda and you'll pay $5.20 a gallon for unleaded regular.

Premium goes for 5-40. Amerigo Gas Station employee James Willman hears plenty from upset drivers.

He says some accuse him of robbery and want to why he's not wearing a mask.

He tries to shrug it off, saying he just works there.

The owner of the gas station says the price is a reflection of the station's remote location and high operating costs.
