Armed bandits hit Newark Dunkin' Donuts

Police are looking into the armed robbery of a Newark, Delaware Dunkin' Donuts. Around 12:00 a.m. Sunday police responded to the Dunkin' Donuts located at 1142 Elkton Road.

The 57-year-old store clerk told officers that two suspects entered the store, one armed with a knife. The man with the knife demanded that the clerk open the cash register and fled after taking the money.

Both subjects were seen leaving in a dark colored Ford pick-up truck with a third person driving.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his late teens to early 20's, with a thin build, short hair, and wearing a white t-shirt. The second subject is said to be a white male, 20-30-years-old, with a thin build, shaved head, and wearing a striped shirt and dark colored jeans.
