Suspect named in restaurant holdup

TACONY - July 3, 2008

Lamea Hall, 29, is wanted for the robbery of the Boston Market restaurant at Torresdale and Cottman Sunday night.

Police say Hall, who has 8 prior arrests, lives on Upsall Street in Philadelphia. Investigators linked him to the robbery through fingerprints that were left at the scene of the crime.

The robbery happened Sunday night when, police say, Hall came in at closing time and asked to use the restroom.

An employee unlocked the door, and when Hall emerged he pulled out a shotgun. The suspect gathered the employees in one area and demanded the manger to empty the safe, according to police.

Hall allegedly locked the employees inside the safe before he fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.

If you have any information about the suspect's identity you are asked to contact Philadelphia Police.
