LCD or Plasma screens?
NEW YORK, NY; July 22, 2008 According to the study by J.D. Power and
Associates, customers are told three out of four times that an LCD
set would be better for them than the plasma type.
Plasma sets are
generally less expensive than similar-sized LCD ones. The survey
found salespeople often warn consumers that images can "burn"
into plasma screens. But that hasn't been an issue for several
years.
The report is based on the experiences of more than 2,000
mystery shoppers during the last six months.
