E3 gaming gathering
Thursday, July 17, Los Angeles Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony have all come out with plans
to launch more games and more sequels for their systems. But they
are also trying to come up with more ways for gamers to use their
systems for things other than playing games. Like movies.
Both Sony
and Microsoft touted their efforts to provide video entertainment
to users. Sony is out with its video download service for the
PlayStation 3, while Microsoft has struck a deal with Netflix to
stream videos from the online DVD rental firm to their TVs.
