Main break causes huge hole in Rt. 202

A large water main break has snarled traffic on Route 202 in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County. Swedesford Road is closed between Contention Lane and Valley Forge Road.

A huge hole developed in the road at that location around 5 a.m. as a result of the break.

The water has stopped flowing but crews remain on scene directing traffic around the hole.
