Fire in Gloucester County, N.J.

This afternoon around 2:48 p.m. the fire department was notified of a large brush fire in Williamstown, Gloucester County. New Jersey Forest Fire Service says firefighters the fire was placed under control at 7:58 p.m.. The fire was about 30 acres.

The fire was near the Winslow Wild Life Gun Range at 501 East Piney Hollow Road.

The forest service says they had an observational helicopter and an air tanker on the scene, as well as ground crews.
