Man shot in the face in Southwest robbery

Philadelphia Police are investigating a report of a robbery and shooting in the Southwest section of the city. Police and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after 8:30 this morning in the 7200 block of Paschall Avenue for a report of an individual shot in the face during a robbery.

A 22-year-old man was transported to the hospital after being shot in the face, back and leg. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in unknown condition.

No arrests have been made in this incident.

The investigation is continuing.
