75 PECO customers lose power

BRYN MAWR, Pa. - January 31, 2009 It happened around 7:00 p.m. Saturday night in the 900 block of East Lancaster Avenue.

PECO officials say a crew was doing repairs in the area when smoke filled underground and came up through manhole covers.

No one was hurt, but a four block area of Lancaster Avenue had to be closed and about 75 PECO customers lost power.
